A little bit about me...
Did you know the average wedding takes up to 300 hours to plan? No matter how excited you are about getting married, fitting those in those endless phone calls, venue visits and inevitable hassles around a full-time job and busy social life can become seriously stressful.
Call me odd (and you will), but I like that stress. I like organising things too. And most of all, I love beautiful, memorable, tailor-made weddings. You see, a happy, hassle-free bride is what makes my day. |
Always freakishly organised (according to those who know me well) I was a PA and conference organiser before my love of all things bridal naturally led me down the wedding planning path. I completed my foundation diploma in Professional Wedding Planning and Event Management at The Wedding Planner School in June 2009 and founded Make My Day in 2010, planning my first wedding the following year. In December 2012 I became a member of the Best Practice Association for wedding planning and event management so you can be sure you really are getting expert advice. In November 2014 I reached the regional finals of The 2015 Wedding Industry Awards.
